Emirates Resort

Red 8 Roofing completed steel roofing works for the Emirates Wolgan Valley Resort a” a $125M ultra-luxury conservation resort in the World Heritage-listed Greater Blue Mountains. The resort consists of 40 freestanding villas and main resort facilities constructed in timber and sandstone under steel roofing. Most building materials were sourced within a 60-mile radius. The resort was designed with green building principles including solar panels, heat pumps and passive ventilation, and opened in October 2009 as one of Australia’s first carbon-neutral certified hotels.
