ATP – Australian Technology Park

Red 8 Roofing delivered roofing and wall cladding works across three buildings within the $1 billion South Eveleigh (Australian Technology Park) redevelopment for Mirvac – one of the largest commercial leasing deals in Australian history. The precinct was redeveloped as the new home of Commonwealth Bank and caters to 18, 000 workers across commercial, retail and public spaces including cafes, a supermarket, sporting facilities and public art. The Locomotive Workshop component involved complex heritage-constrained roofing works on a 130-year-old heritage-listed building, with COVID-19 disruptions adding further complexity on a live construction site. Stage 1 achieved Occupational Certification with the precinct completing in 2021 as part of the NSW Government’s Central to Eveleigh innovation corridor.
